Large Solid Angle (LSA) anvils a.k.a. "Boehler configuration" allow for a large angle exposure of the diffracted rays in X-ray diffraction experiments. Mostly used in single crystal HP experiments. Desired solid-angle is specified by customer

The anvils are supported by the pavillions instead of the table. D'Anvils provide individuals sits (backing plates) made from diameter and height according to customers specifications. Sits materials are made of Vasxomax-350 or other hard metals.
